Permits and Conditions

As a drone pilot, you must comply with all applicable aviation laws and regulations. The specific rules and permits required depend on the purpose of the flight and the location in which the drone will be operated.

Flight within Lycksele Airport Traffic Information Zone (TIZ/RMZ)
Drone operations conducted within 5 km of the airport runways and inside the designated TIZ/RMZ are only permitted when continuous two-way radio communication, or an equivalent means of contact, is maintained with Air Traffic Service.

  • Be reachable for the entire duration of the flight.
  • Monitor the airspace and immediatley abort the flight if another aircraft approaches.
  • Notify Air Trafic Service when changing between areas if flying in multiple areas.
